Monarch - Bell Notifications - Deals That May Be Causing an Inflated Forecast

This notification shows all the open - pending deals that their booked was imported, but the pending amount didn't get reconciled. This caused the Forecast amount to be inflated.

To access the notification

When the notification is enabled and if at least an open - pending deal didn't get reconciled after the booked came in, then you will see the notice next to the Bell icon located on the upper right corner of your screen. Once you click the Bell icon, you will see the message of "x Deals may be causing an inflated forecast

After you click on the message, you will see the below screen.

On the above screen, you will see the Deal, Account, and Agency names listed on the left of the screen. If you click on their name, their profile will show.

To fix the inflation forecast

We highly suggested updating the Deal status to Closed Won so the pending will be removed from the forecast amount. To do this, please follow the below steps:

1. On the notice screen, click the Reconcile button located on the right of the Deal. This will bring up the Deal profile.

2. On the Deal profile, click the Deal Status of Open - Pending located on the top of the page and select Closed Won.
