To access the contact list, please navigate to Contacts under Lists on the left-hand side of your screen.
On the Contact list, you can narrow down your view to specific contacts by using the filter options below:
- All/Account/Agency - Display your Contacts by Account, Agency, or All together. Note that any contacts not affiliated with a company will only display in the All view.
- Name – Search on First and Last Name results. These are also links to the contact profile page.
- Title – Find titles that contain your searched values
- Company – Find companies that contain your searched value. Note that this works in conjunction with the Account/Agency view selection. This is also a link to the Account or Agency profile page.
- Email – Find contacts based upon emails. This is great when you know a common thread in an email address for multiple results too!
- Phone – Look up contacts based upon their phone number or even used to filter down to a specific area code.
- Salespeople - Find contacts based upon the salesperson name whom contact is assgined to. This option is available for manager only.
- Tags - Exist in the Show/Hide Options menu and allow you to immediately find contacts based upon the tags you choose without re-running the list. Please click on the Show Option button on the the right top of your screen to access the Tags section.
To Add a Tag - In the Tag pod, you can use the Searchbox to search for and select a tag that has already been used or you can create a new one. A tag is meant to be a short keyword about the contact. Please do not type out full sentences for the tag.
In the Search box, type the first two characters of the tag. A drop list, listing potential matches appears assuming that tag is used in at least one other contact. If the list is too long, you can continue to type in the field to narrow the list.
- If you wish to use an existing tag - select it from the list.
- If you wish to create a new tag - continue to type the tag, ignoring the tags on the list. Then press Enter
The tag appears in the pod after it has been added.
To Remov a Tag - In the Tags pod, click the [x] locate to the right of the tag. The tag disappears from the pod.
Notes:
- Contacts are paged in sets of 25, 50, or 100 and you can quickly navigate to a specific page with the controls at the bottom of the list.
- On the contact list, you can edit, delete, export, import and email the contacts. Please view the below articles for the instructions.
