Matrix Mobile - How to Add a New contact Name in Matrix

You can access Matrix on your smart phone and do everything in Matrix Mobile that you would do if you were in the office on your desktop. 

How to check if a Contact has already been added to Matrix:

Utilize the Universal Search feature to see if a Contact has already been added into Matrix. To do this simply click the Search Button in the bottom left of your screen and type in the Contact Name. Press Enter on your Phone's Keyboard, and see if the name is a result in your search.

How to add New Contact

Clicking the Actions button on the bottom right of your screen and select +Contact. Fill out the required fields in the Add Contact Form, and click Save in the bottom right of your screen when you have finished filling out the Contact's information.

How to add a New Contact to an Activity

To add a New Contact to an existing Activity, navigate to the Activity and click on the Activity Name to Edit the Activity. Scroll down to the Contact Field, begin typing your Contact's Name, and select their Name from the dropdown options. Click Save in the lower right of your screen to save the update. 

To add a New Contact to a New Activity start by adding your Activity. Select Actions in the bottom right of your screen and click +Activity. Fill out the required fields and make sure to type in your New Contact's Name in the Contact Field. Select their Name from the dropdown options and Save your Activity. Additionally, if you create a New Activity from the Contact's Page, the Contact Field in the New Activity will fill in the Contact's name automatically. 

How to add a New Contact to a Deal

To add a New Contact to an existing Deal, navigate to the Deal, click on the Deal Name, and click the Edit Header button. From there scroll down to the Contact Field, begin typing your Contact's Name, and select their Name from the dropdown options. Click Save in the lower right of your screen to update the Deal. 

To add a New Contact to a New Deal start by creating your Deal. Select Actions in the bottom right of your screen and click +Activity. Fill out the required fields and make sure to type in your New Contact's Name in the Contact Field. Select their Name from the dropdown options and Save your Deal. Additionally, if you create a New Deal from the Contact's Page, the Contact Field in the New Deal will fill in the Contact's name automatically.

Adding a Note to a New Contact

Select Actions in the bottom right of your screen and click +Note. Under Add a note for.. select a Contact, in the Search for a contact field type in your New Contact's Name, select it from the dropdown options, and continue to fill out the information for your Note. After you have finished creating your Note click Save in the bottom right of your screen. Additionally, if you create a New Note from the Contact's Page, the Contact Field in the New Note will fill in the Contact's name automatically.
