If you are on a screen and want to go to another but don't want to lose what you are looking at, you can use the right mouse click -> Open link in new tab or Open in new tab option.
Example, you are on your Account List and you want to go to the Profile page for a specific account, you can right click on the account name link and select Open link in new tab. This will open and show a new tab in your web browser window. Click on the new tab and you will see the Account Profile screen. When you are done with the Profile screen, you can close it and you will still have your Account List screen open. Or you can click on the Account List tab to move back to it.
