Working with the Account List

To view a list of your accounts, from the Matrix Menu Bar, move your mouse over Lists, select Accounts. In the Account List you have the ability to see an account’s associated Outlet, Office, Agency, Last Billed  and Creation Date of the account, if the information is available. To see this data, click the [+] sign preceding the account name that you wish to view. A sub-grid level will appear listing the information, if it is available.

By default, the data in this list is sorted by Name. If necessary, you can re-sort the data by clicking a column header for one of the other columns.

The My Accounts list initially displays all of the accounts belonging to you. However, if you wish to see all accounts associated with your Outlets, regardless of the Salesperson or Office, click the Master List button.

To download your List to Excel, select the Export icon in the upper right hand corner of the page. In Excel, you are able to print the list and do other functions native to that application.

You can filter out (hide) accounts from the Accounts List. This can be helpful when you are looking for a certain account type or want to focus on looking at all accounts that meet a certain criteria.

Note: Filter settings will remain when you toggle between My List and the Master List. However, they will clear each time the Accounts List is displayed.

To edit the Account List filters:
  1. Click the Edit button. The Edit Account Filters Dialog box displays.
  2. Select your filters by clicking on a category on the left. A list of possible filters appears on the right. Checking a box includes the accounts meeting that criteria in the Accounts ListsUn-checking it will exclude it.
  3. If you wish to add a tag as a filter, click the Tag category on the left. In the Search box on the right, begin typing the tag that you wish to search for. You must type at least two characters. A drop list, listing potential matches appears. If the list is too long, you can continue to type in the field to narrow the list. From the list, select a tag.
  4. Click the Save button.

Note: You may use filters from multiple categories. An inactive salesperson will appear with a strike through their name.
