The Matrix Locker isn't just for email activities. You can manually attach files to other types of activities.
In order to access Activity dialog box, please navigate to Lists, then select Activities. In the Activity list page, please click on the subject field of the activity that you would like to access the Matrix Locker. Then, the Activity dialog bow shows up.
Add a File to an Activity
You can add a file to any Activity. With the Activity dialog box in view:

Click the Matrix Locker tab.

Click the Browse button.

Browse to, and select the file from your computer.

Click the Save button to attach the file to the activity.
Delete a File from an Activity
You can delete a file any Activity. With the Activity dialog box in view:

Click the Matrix Locker tab.

Click the x preceding the file’s name (that you wish to delete).

Click the Save button.
